- Thank you for Movie Night support
Nikki S appreciated the support for the 5th graders’ trip to Concordia
They earned about $115 per student that worked it
Nikki is possibly planning to plan another with Tracy for more student funds for
Concordia (Dec 16 Polar Express- by Tracy for Concordia trip students)
Popcorn machine isn’t a fast maker of popcorn. We can pop, but also purchase big bags
from the theater to supplement
Posters were a good marketing on the doors from the licensing
Noise level and movement regulated more, if we do it again (need volunteers for in gym)

Cultural assembly for Dia de los muertos
Piece of Cake on Dec 14- there will be reasons for parents to attend in the classroom too
Poster/Flyer for Piece of Cake and in newsletter
Dec 20 will be another cultural assembly
MAP testing Dec 3-21, K-5 will all take it and it helps to put students in middle school and
for 6th grade Math- please be mindful of encouraging your children
Great Gatherings was wonderful turnout

Balance right over $5,000
$200 came in from Ties and Tiaras last year
Amazon Smile is up and going that has funds go to Sonia PTO
Box Tops collected about $1,300 and the winners will get a class reward
Some requests are coming in for field trips and we’re hoping with Piece of Cake
fundraiser

Discussed having the pancake guy instead of griddles and volunteers

Still need to fill in volunteer slots and Megan will send out tonight or tomorrow
Jaclyn asking Tracy about book donation and wrapping station- Jen can outreach to Reach
Literacy store/program, school/parent email for gently used books

Room parents that signed up will be notified to hopefully help during this event or find 1 or 2 parents to help

- Ideas from parents of speakers to come after December holiday- start thinking of topics you’d like to hear about so we can arrange guest speakers to come support our parents, school, and community
